The John F. Nicoll Pipe Band has a comprehensive instruction program for those beginners wishing to learn to play the pipes or the drums. The programme is divided into five four-week sessions in which a different discipline is learned.

The cost for pipe lessons is determined by the instructor, usually about $10.00 per lesson.
